About the Recipe
A great crust for any sweet pie, for a savory pie switch the Almond Oil for Olive Oil.

Ingredients
16 tablespoons ( 2 sticks) of butter
2 1/3 cups of pastry flour
3 tablespoons confectioners sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 tsp of roasted almond oil
1/4 - 1/2 cup of ice cold water
Preparation
Step 1
Mix dry ingredients together.
Step 2
Cut in the butter and oil.
Step 3
Add ice water a little bit at a time until the dough begins to come together. It will feel thick and moist, not overly wet.
Step 4
Mold pie dough into a ball.
Step 5
Cut in half. This recipe yields two 9-inch pie crusts.
Step 6
Flatten into discs and cool for at least 2 hours.
